The Active Travel team at Limerick City & County Council, through funding from the National Transport Authority, is continuing to expand Limerick’s cycling and pedestrian network.

These Schemes are being developed with consideration of the Limerick Shannon Metropolitan Area Transport Strategy (LSMATS) and the Limerick Development Plan 2022-2028.
Newsletter
The Active Travel team publishes a fortnightly newsletter outlining all of the latest news and developments occurring in the team and throughout our projects. The newsletter contains regular updates on the status of projects currently under construction, as well as other news such as project launches, planning updates and other activities.
