Roxboro Road Active Travel Scheme

The Roxboro Road Active Travel Scheme is a project being delivered by Limerick City & County Council. It is being funded by the National Transport Authority.

Active Travel Limerick - Roxboro Road

The link, which is proposed to be approximately 1.5 kilometres long, would join the Roxboro Roundabout to Upper Gerald Griffin Street, via Sexton Street.

When completed, the Scheme will connect Limerick’s Active Travel network from Roxboro to the Childers Road Scheme and beyond with the city centre.

The Scheme is currently at the Preliminary Design stage.

The Scheme will be put before Councillors via a Part 8 planning application at a later date, having gone through phases of public consultation before that time.
