The Doon & Cappamore Public Realm and Movement Scheme is a project being delivered by Limerick City & County Council. It is being funded by the National Transport Authority

The overall objective of the project is to provide a plan for Cappamore and Doon that will cater for all modes of transport and provide for local public realm enhancements while also addressing some accessibility needs in the area.
Measures are required to facilitate both locations in becoming more attractive for citizens to move around and avail of local amenities and services. The prioritisation of pedestrian and cyclist movements is an important consideration in the overall vision for the plan.
The Scheme is currently at the Concept Development and Options Selection stage (Phase 2 of 7 in the NTA’s Project Approval Guidelines).
As the Scheme progresses, this page will be updated with the latest available information relating to the works.
