Limerick Local Community Development Committee allocates funding under the Social Enterprise Capital Grants Scheme. The Department of Rural and Community Development has approved €39,883.29 in funding for Limerick under the 2021 scheme.
Social Enterprise Capital Grants Scheme is now closed for applications.
Only social enterprises, as defined in the national social enterprise policy, may apply under this scheme. All applicants will be checked and verified to ensure they meet the definition. Applicants who do not meet the definition will not be considered.

The Social Enterprise Capital Grants Scheme provides funding towards small scale capital costs.
Capital costs incurred by social enterprises for the purchase of equipment or the carrying out of repairs or refurbishments of existing facilities can be funded. The Scheme does not provide funding for operating or administrative costs.
Expenditure incurred before the date of grant approval will not be eligible.
The scheme supports one of the key commitments in the National Social Enterprise Policy for Ireland 2019-2022, Growing and Strengthening Social Enterprise.
