The Ballylanders Development Association are delighted to announce they are working with other local volunteer groups to bring St Patrick's Day celebrations to the East Limerick village again this year. The parade will be on Sunday March 17th. Leaving James Hayes’ yard at 3pm.
"St Patrick's Day in Ballylanders is always a great day for celebrating as a community,"
said BDA chairman Damien Fitzgerald.
"We're looking to hear from local groups and organisations who want to get involved with this year's parade in Ballylanders. People can reach out to us at ballylandersdevelopment@outlook.ie."
At a recent AGM of the association, Damien Fitzgerald was re-elected chairperson while James Stapleton was re-elected secretary, Martina McLoughlin was re-elected treasurer and Máiréad O'Donnell was re-elected PRO.
Entering his 4th year as chairperson, Damien said there is a long list of people and organisations who make Ballylanders a great place to live and work in.
"We are nothing without the people behind us. Ballylanders is full of great people who are always willing to help whenever they're asked. Every community group works together throughout the year. We have a thriving and prosperous village. Together we make Ballylanders a great community to be part of."
