Castleconnell Playground
Set beside the Shannon River, this is a lovely playground with two interconnected areas for toddlers and older children.
Fairy Woods
After the boys and girls are finished having fun playing on the swings and slides why not take a nice stroll along the river path and see if you can find the fairy village.
Castleconnell Youth Club
Castleconnell Youth Club is home to youth work activities including arts & crafts, dancing, foosball, sports tournaments and youth discos. It is open to young people from 10 to 17 years in Castleconnell and the surrounding area.
Sports Organisations & Scout Groups
Castleconnell has a many thriving sporting organisations, run by dedicated volunteers. Children and teenagers can choose form a range of activities such as hurling, football and camogie, or for the water enthusiast there's kayaking and a long established rowing club.
There are also two scout groups in the area - St. Patrick's, Ahane and St. Joseph's, Castleconnell - who cater for children from 6 to 15 years and meet regularly, enjoying both indoor and outdoor activities.
