Limerick Creative Communities Small Grants Scheme 2025
Limerick City and County Council Culture and Creativity team is pleased to announce an open call for Limerick based creatives, community organisations and groups to submit applications for the Limerick Creative Communities Small Grants Scheme 2025 (formerly Made in Limerick Grants Scheme), as part of Limerick’s Creative Ireland Programme to deliver activities taking place in 2025.
The Limerick Creative Communities Small Grants Scheme 2025 is open for applications until Wednesday, 5 February at 12 noon.
Síolta Glasa Open Call for Creative Partners
Limerick City and County Council are pleased to announce an open call for Limerick based creative partners to work with selected Limerick communities on Síolta Glasa: a creative climate action project with the aim of exploring creative climate action and enable localised behaviour change. Limerick City and County Council secured this funding through the Creative Climate Action Fund.

Limerick Culture and Creative Strategy 2023-2027 | Straitéis Chultúir agus Chruthaitheachta Luimnigh 2023–2027
The Creative Ireland programme aims to mainstream culture and creativity in everyday life. This ambition closely aligns with the priorities of Limerick City and County Council. This Creative Ireland Culture and Creativity Strategy for Limerick is a valuable addition to our existing strategies, and at its core, is a vision that everyone in Limerick should be given the opportunity to engage and participate in cultural and creative activities.
Limerick Culture and Creative Strategies 2018-2022 | Straitéis Chultúir agus Chruthaitheachta 2018–2022
This ambitious and innovative 5-year Culture and Creativity Strategy has been developed by the Limerick Culture Team and local Creative Ireland Programme coordinator, in consultation with local artists, creatives, cultural and heritage organisations, community groups, the creative industries, centres of education and schools.
Creative Ireland: Cruinniú na nÓg
An annual national day of creativity for children and young people, Cruinniú na nÓg, takes place in June each year. Children and young people are invited to take part in a range of events and workshops delivered by Limerick Creative Ireland team.
Limerick’s Future Creators - Outside is Inside Now
Limerick's Future Creators is a collaboration between the young people of the Irish Aerial Creation Centre, Irish Chamber Orchestra Youth Orchestra, and Limrockers Cru hip hop dance group. Outside is Inside Now is a film created throughout 2020 and into 2021, planning and storyboarding it through Zoom meetings. It tells the story of the boredom and isolation of lockdowns, and finally coming together again in person.
