Adare Town Park proudly raised its first Green Flag on 17th December 2024, a symbol of excellence in the management of public parks and green spaces.

Previously unrecorded pillboxes dating back to World War II have been revealed by archaeologists working on the Foynes to Limerick Road (including Adare Bypass) Road Project.

The Christmas in Limerick Merry and Bright Challenge invited businesses, residents, and offices across Limerick to showcase their holiday spirit with a total of €10,000 in prizes.
