Pre-planning Meetings Information and Advice

To request a pre-planning meeting please submit the following items in writing using the Pre-Planning Application Form.

Form Requirements:

• Site location map outlining the site in red
• Your name, address and phone number
• Address and approximate size of site
• Details of the ownership of the site
• Description of the proposed development

Please note meeting requests cannot be logged without providing the above items.

Do Not Submit:

• Aerial Photographs
• Google Earth Maps
• 1:50,000 scale maps
• Site Layout Plans at 1:500

Forms and required documentation can be submitted through the following means:

• By Email at preplanning@limerick.ie
• By Post to the Planning Office, Council Buildings, Dooradoyle, Limerick
• By hand to the Planning Office, Council Buildings, Dooradoyle, Limerick

Upon receipt of this information you will receive an acknowledgement letter and thereafter a pre-planning appointment. This appointment will be carried out through the following means:

• Email
• In person (if required)
