  • Dangerous Structures / Buildings

    Under Sections 2 and 3 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act 1964, the Council is entitled to serve notice on property owners where, in the opinion of the Council, a property is dangerous, requesting them to carry out remedial action to make the property safe.

  • Home Sharing and Short Term Letting

    The new provisions will only apply in areas designated as 'rent pressure zones' under the Residential Tenancies Act 2004, as amended. Short term letting in areas outside the designated rent pressure zones are not impacted in any way by the new arrangements.

  • Unauthorised Development

    The Planning Authority will investigate all written complaints of unauthorised development.
