Apply for Planning Permission

  • Large-scale Residential Development (LRD)

    LRD applications are made directly to the Local Authority. The Planning and Development (Amendment) (Large-scale Residential Development) Act 2021 came into effect as of 17th December 2021, which is the commencement date for dealing with LRD applications.

  • Online Planning Portal

    The Local Government Online Planning portal was designed to streamline the application for planning permission across all Local Authorities in Ireland. The online portal is easy-to-use and moves the process into an environmentally friendly one that is also user friendly.

  • Planning Compliance

    Planning Compliance is the process of complying with planning conditions set out in your final grant of permission by the Planning Authority or by An Bord Pleanála. All conditions attached to the permission must be complied with.

  • Planning Forms

    The Planning Office is open to the public Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm (through lunch) located in Limerick City & County Council Offices, Dooradoyle.
