Limerick City and County Council is welcoming the results of an independent economic impact assessment commissioned by Munster Rugby and conducted by Repucon Consulting
The assessment highlights the significant economic benefits of the 2024 summer concerts held at Thomond Park, Limerick, and Virgin Media Park, Cork.
In 2024, nearly 200,000 music fans attended a series of summer concerts at these venues. Over the weekend of July 12th to 14th, more than 73,000 fans attended three concerts at Thomond Park, featuring performances by Snow Patrol, Paolo Nutini, and Liam Gallagher.
